FASTFASHION has shown us that common sense is not universal
At NWHR we believe that a conscious and fair fashion is possible. To achieve this our first step is selecting materials which respect our values and planet and those which guarantee fair and dignified working conditions.
For this first campaign, we’ve decided to manufacture all our clothing in 100% organic cotton.
Our cotton fiber is not only GMO-free and has a low water consumption, but during its cultivation no chemicals such as fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides are used, being therefore less harmful for farmers, less pollutant for soil and underground water in comparison to conventional cotton. Moreover, organic agriculture respects the soils nutrient cycle, thus allowing its use for future generations.
Conventional cotton cultivation only accounts for 3% of world cultivation. However, this implies 10% of pesticides and 25% of insecticides used worldwide.
One of its other great advantages is that their use does not violate human rights, or any of the working conditions of the people involved in its cultivation. By thoroughly analyzing the traceability of our product, we make sure that workers receive fair compensation for their work.
In addition, this type of cultivation favors small farmers over large cotton estates, consequently promoting a more sustainable economy.

To send our clothing we use packaging with a very low impact.
Each order is shipped in an FSC paper envelope that we individually hand-stamp with biosoluble ink. It only weighs 60g and takes up less space than a box, which reduces the emissions derived from its transport.
Inside each envelope we find a non-plastic adhesive that allows the envelope to be reused in case of needing a return.
